Focus: Identifying and developing sales opportunities for IHHP’s Emotional Intelligence and Culture Change Systems

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn and grow. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a senior sales professional, receiving mentorship and on-the-job training. The primary focus will be on sourcing and securing new business for our EI training and culture development solutions, particularly within the Learning and Development departments of large corporations, as well as conducting research and sales outreach for the senior sales team for our culture change system. Ideally, you have some experience working in a sales development role within an entrepreneurial environment. You are a great communicator, a proactive contributor, and are self-aware. You bring good business maturity to your role and bring out the best in others.

Key Accountabilities

Reporting to the President for the time being, with a future reporting relationship into a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for the following:

Prospect Research and Outreach: Identify and connect with potential clients in large organizations (1,000+ employees) for our EI leadership development solutions and Last 8% Culture System

Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales development strategies to reach decision-makers in Learning Development and Human Resources departments.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and challenges in order to position our products effectively.

Pipeline Management: Manage and grow the sales pipeline, track progress, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are met.

Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and product teams to align on business development strategies and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions to clients.

Client Education: Educate potential clients on the benefits of emotional intelligence training and our Last 8% Culture System, highlighting how our solutions can address their specific organizational needs.

You Will Bring the Following Experience or Attributes:

Experience: Some experience in sales, particularly in B2B environments. Familiarity with Learning and Development functions in large corporations is a significant asset.

Skills: Strong research and prospecting skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and a results-driven mindset.

Knowledge: Familiarity with emotional intelligence concepts and organizational culture change is a plus.

Attributes: Self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Communication: Naturally curious, excellent communication skills

● Have requisite levels of both ‘Heart’ and ‘Edge’

● Keen attention to detail and an ability to simultaneously execute multiple campaigns and initiatives

● Personal integrity, protect sensitive information, maintain rigorous standards for confidentiality

● Team-focused with the skills to collaborate internally and with clients and prospective clients
