Coaching for Improved Leadership Skills |
The quality of a training program is greatly limited if there is no accountability. Coaching lets participants practice new skills with support and guidance, as well as gain feedback on attempts to incorporate new EQ behaviors at work and home. This practice is critical for the development of new brain neuro-pathways and their associated behaviors.
One-on-One Coaching
IHHP’s individual EQ coaching, the most powerful coaching forum, is three to six one-on-one telephone sessions designed to provide support and accountability to participants for personal leadership goals they set in the two-day training program. Combined with IHHP’s powerful training program and the EI360 feedback tool, EQ coaching offers the support, focus and accountability individuals need for personal and professional growth.

Playing Big -- Interactive CD Program |
Research shows that developing Emotional Intelligence competencies requires repetition and support. IHHP’s interactive computer-based training program, Playing Big, provides participants with yet another opportunity to enhance and refine their new EQ skills and behaviors. The interactive CD offers participants what they need to make real change in their personal and professional lives.
Playing Big consists of six modules that are presented, one per week, over a six-week period. Segments start and end with an inspiring and thought-provoking video of Dr. JP Pawliw-Fry discussing techniques to improve leadership performance and effectiveness. Each module also includes exercises to further enhance learning to master the critical skills of Emotional Intelligence.
Skills learned in the Playing Big program include:

- How to recognize barriers to performance – in ourselves and in others;

One Day Advanced Program: Emotional Intelligence...Digging Deeper |
| The final component of IHHP’s blended learning includes a one-day advanced program called Emotional Intelligence… Digging Deeper. This program is designed to increase EQ skills by providing participants with the opportunity to build on the knowledge, skills and tools first learned in the two-day program, Emotional Intelligence for Personal Leadership. This advanced EI training program is ideally delivered four to six months after the two-day program and EQ coaching have been completed. The program is intended to revisit and reinforce the original elements of Emotional Intelligence by digging deeper into the concepts, skills and behaviors participants learned earlier. In addition, the advanced program focuses on one of the most difficult elements of leadership: the skilful art of ‘speaking our truth.’ |
