The Institute for Health and Human Potential (IHHP) is looking for a Director of Operations to oversee our training and coaching program programs.

Location: Barrie, Ontario office
Reports to: President (Geneva) and CEO (Chicago)
Operations Objective:
- Implement business strategy and vision in conjunction with business owners, ensuring activities are consistent with overall goals and requirements of the organization
- Manage and motivate office staff, delegate and monitor workload, provide direction on a daily basis to maintain efficiency
- Effectively recruit and train new team members, ensuring employment laws, company policies and relevant HR procedures are followed
- Establish and implement office standards and procedures, maintain HR records
- Control company expenditures within agreed budgets; create financial and statistical tools and reports using spreadsheets, particularly as they relate to cash flow and budgetary requirements.
- Act as liaison between owners, office staff, facilitators and contractors
- Other Duties as Assigned
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office activities, ensuring facilities; equipment and technology are up-to-date and operating efficiently.
- Manages a variety of projects from conception to implementation, utilizing appropriate resources as required.
- Develop and implement systems that ensure open communication, idea sharing, motivation and efficiency of staff
- Consistently look for new ways to improve and promote the business with an effective marketing plan
- Communicate with and provide information to owners, facilitators, contract workers and office staff by relevant methods internally and externally
- Research market to ensure staff and company owners have sufficient and up-to-date information to capitalize on future opportunities
- Oversee HR function of staff recruitment, orientation/induction, salary and benefits administration, etc.

Sales and Marketing Objectives:
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development Account Executives.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Executives.
- Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Prepare, plan, manage and control a annual marketing plan and budget to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Manage all facets of marketing and communications campaigns such as promoting programs, newsletters and event management, Public relations, viral marketing, e-marketing and keyword search.
- Work collaboratively with the business development team to maximize and support client and partnership relations.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive’s sales and activity performance.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Recruits, tests, and hires Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Required Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Insures that all Account Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Delegate’s authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets examples for Account Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Account Executives to build motivation and selling skills.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Job Specifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales management.
- Experience in training and development organizations.
- Strong understanding of training and development customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work with a North American based team of professionals.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.

Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 including bonus and based upon experience.
